DJI LIGHTBRIDGE 2

DJI Lightbridge 2 breaks technical limits to allow you to travel further and see more clearly. The integrated controller and intelligent

algorithms set a new standard for wireless HD image transmission by lowering latency and increasing

maximum range and reliability.

PROFESSIONAL HD BROADCASTING

Broadcast everything live - from global news events to

sports to your local concerts and gatherings, all directly to

large-screen displays, multi-million YouTube audiences and

standard TV channels.

The Lightbridge 2 has been designed from the ground up to

meet the requirements of professional broadcasting at high

frame rates and HD clarity. USB, mini-HDMI and 3G-SDI ports

support video output at up to 1080p/60fps or broadcast

standard output of 720p/59.94fps and 1080i/50fps.

RESPONSIVE NAVIGATION, REAL-TIME VIDEO

With a new, powerful hardware encoder and advanced algorithms, total latency has been significantly reduced to as

low as 50ms.* So fly FPV, see what your camera sees, and capture footage as never before.

Aircraft and camera control signals are also transmitted over Lightbridge 2 at lightning fast speeds, giving you smooth,

responsive navigation as you fly or direct your camera.

INCREDIBLE RANGE

Lightbridge 2 wirelessly transmits HD video at a range of up to 1.2 miles (2 km).*

All this to ensure that you will be able to explore distant locations and capture any perspective, always receiving a

crystal clear image of your camera’s sight.

INTEGRATED DESIGN

Start broadcasting within seconds. The Lightbridge 2 greatly reduces the number of parts you must carry, mount, and set up. With the receiver fully

integrated into a new remote controller, simply connect your display equipment, power your system on, and you are ready to go.

The included remote provides easy access to vital functions. It has dedicated hardware controls for photo and video capture, gimbal pitch control,

sensitive flight control sticks and dedicated Return To Home and customizable buttons.* Additionally, an internal, rechargeable 6,000mAh battery

lets you fly longer and makes charging easy and quick.

*Camera control functionality is dependent on the paired camera. Custom button functionality is dependent on the Flight Controller.

INTELLIGENT, DYNAMIC TRANSMISSION

Lightbridge 2 is intelligent. It automatically adapts in real time to keep latency low while maintaining a strong signal. For uninterrupted transmission, a high-speed processor chooses the best channel and bandwidth based on current distance and electromagnetic environment.

When using the DJI GO app, you can choose to maximize video quality or focus on lower latency, and manually change to your desired transmission channel.

TEAM UP

Transmit the same live HD view wirelessly to several devices by connecting multiple remote controllers in Master-Slave mode. Increase

efficiency by working together to accomplish complex imaging and broadcasting tasks. Lightbridge 2 supports up to one Master and three

Slave devices at the same time, so the pilot, gimbal operator, director, and broadcast team can all receive the video signal and monitor the

shooting process from different places.

ABSOLUTE CONTROL ON YOUR DEVICE

Use the powerful DJI GO app to control your camera, access intelligent navigation settings,

and receive a live HD view of what the camera sees, on your paired mobile device. Flight

information including current status, full telemetry, location, heading, and more is displayed

and updated live, making every flight safe and convenient.

READY TO GO

Lightbridge 2 supports a range of professional-level DJI products. This means that you can build your custom system out of parts that

work perfectly together, because they were designed to. If you have an existing system based on the previous version of Lightbridge,

or are currently using an analog or WiFi-based video downlink, you can easily upgrade to the Lightbridge 2.

STREAM TO ANYTHING

Output full HD video to almost any type of display – mobile phones and tablets, desktop displays and TVs can all receive live

video output. You can even output video to several devices simultaneously through a combination of ports, either USB and

3G-SDI , or USB and mini-HDMI.

DUAL VIDEO STREAM

Lightbridge 2 can transmit video from two cameras simultaneously: the main camera used to capture video and photographs, and a second camera showing the First Person View (FPV).

Output a Picture-In-Picture view via mini-HDMI or 3G-SDI   to a TV or other external display, where the FPV is layered with the main camera view. The views and controls are completely independent so that the gimbal control will not affect the pilot view or the aircraft’s navigation, and vice versa.

In what ways has the DJI Lightbridge 2 been enhanced since the previous version?

The following enhancements have been made to the DJI Lightbridge 2:
A new SDI output port has been added. The Remote Controller function is integrated with the Ground System, so that you don’t need to buy an additional Remote Controller. Transmission latency has been reduced to as low as 50ms. Transmission range has been extended to up to 2km. Intelligent, adaptive wireless technology has been added for increased transmission reliability. Picture-in-Picture output support has been added.

What is the benefit of the SDI port on the DJI Lightbridge 2?

The Serial Digital Interface (SDI) is capable of transmitting High Definition digital video via a coaxial cable. Compared to HDMI output, the SDI boasts longer transmission distance and more stable signal. It is the most widely used interface in the Broadcasting and Television industries. The SDI port included with the DJI Lightbridge 2 solves the problem of unstable signal transmission, improves compatibility between devices, and removes the need for extra adapters.
